Message July 27, 2017: Reverend Karen Graham
It’s that time of year again . . . time for MOPS to start meeting!
MOPS is a fellowship group for Mothers Of PreSchoolers (children from birth through kindergarten). They will be meeting the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The first meeting will be here before we know it, September 14th!
If you are a mother of a young one (or more) we would love for you to join us. Each meeting will have coffee and snacks, a specific topic of teaching, fellowship time, crafts, and CHILDCARE!
That brings me to my next pint, if you are able to volunteer, we are still in need of child care. It is an important part of MOPS that the mothers get to spend some time building each other up, that is so hard to do with a little one constantly needing your attention. Without our childcare volunteers, we will not be able to dig deep and come along side each other in the hard things in life.
If you would like any more information, please call Kelly Ziemski at 361-354-1001.
Our Annual Summer Picnic was held July 30th this year. There was food, fellowship, and even some games!
This Sunday, July 30th, is our Annual Summer Picnic. We will be meeting at the New Concord Elementary Pavilion after the Traditional Worship Service. Bring a covered dish to share (be sure to come even if you can’t bring a dish). Meat, drinks, and paper products will be provided.
If you have questions, call the office at 740-826-4617.
